Sukta 3
वर्चसा मां समनक्त्वग्निर्मेधां मे विष्णुर्न्यऽनक्त्वासन्। रयिं मे विश्वे नि यच्छन्तु देवाः स्योना मापः पवनैः पुनन्तु
várcasā māṃ sám anaktu agnír medhā́ṃ me víṣṇur ní ’naktu āsán | rayíṃ me víśve ní yacchantu devā́ḥ syónā mā́paḥ pávanaiḥ punantu ||
With lustre let Agni anoint me wholly; let Viṣṇu anoint my sacred wit within the mouth. Let all the Gods establish for me wealth; and may the kindly Waters, with their cleansings, purify me.
ਅਗਨੀ ਤੇਜ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਭਿਸੇਕ ਕਰੇ; ਵਿਸ਼ਣੂ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਦੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਮੇਧਾ (ਬੁੱਧੀ) ਨੂੰ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਅਭਿਸੇਕ ਕਰੇ। ਸਭ ਦੇਵ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਧਨ ਟਿਕਾਉਣ; ਅਤੇ ਸਨੇਹੀ ਆਪਃ (ਜਲ) ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰਨ।
