हैमनौ मासौ गोप्तारावकुर्वन् भूमिं चाग्निं चानुष्ठातारौ

haimanáu māsáu goptā́rāv akurvan bhū́miṃ cāgníṃ cānuṣṭhātā́rau

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

The two Haimanā months they appointed as Guardians, as Executors of Earth and of Agni (Fire).

ਹੈਮਨਾ ਦੇ ਉਹ ਦੋ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਰਖਵਾਲੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤੇ—ਧਰਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਨੀ (ਅਗਨਿਦੇਵ) ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਠਾਤਾ/ਕਾਰਜ-ਨਿਰਵਾਹਕ ਵਜੋਂ।
