अदेवृघ्न्यपतिघ्नीहैधि शिवा पशुभ्यः सुयमा सुवर्चाः । प्रजावती वीरसूर्देवकामा स्योनेममग्निं गार्हपत्यं सपर्य

IAST Transliteration

adévr̥ghny àpatighnī́há édhi śivā́ paśúbhyaḥ suyámā suvár̥cāḥ | prajā́vatī vīrasū́r devákāmā syōnám imám agním gārhapatyáṃ saparya

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Be here one who harms not the husband’s folk, who slays not her lord; thrive—benign to the cattle, well-ordered, of fair splendour. Rich in offspring, a mother of heroes, god-desiring—honour thou this kindly Gārhapatya Fire.

Translation

ਇੱਥੇ ਐਸੀ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਰਹੁ—ਪਤੀ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ, ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ; ਤੂੰ ਫਲੇ-ਫੂਲੇਂ—ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਿਵ (ਕਲਿਆਣਕਾਰੀ), ਸੁਯਮ (ਸੁਸੰਯਮੀ), ਸੁਵਰਚਾ (ਉਜਲੀ ਕਾਂਤੀ ਵਾਲੀ)। ਪ੍ਰਜਾਵਤੀ, ਵੀਰਸੂ, ਦੇਵਕਾਮਾ—ਇਸ ਸ੍ਯੋਨ (ਸੁਖਦ) ਗਾਰ੍ਹਪਤ੍ਯ ਅਗਨੀ ਦੀ ਤੂੰ ਸਪਰਿਆ (ਪੂਜਾ-ਸੇਵਾ) ਕਰ।
