वाचस्पते सौमनसं मनश्च गोष्ठे नो गा जनय योनिषु प्रजाः । इहैव प्राणः सख्ये नो अस्तु तं त्वा परमेष्ठिन् पर्यहमायुषा वर्चसा दधातु

IAST Transliteration

vā́caspate saumanasáṃ mánas ca gōṣṭhé no gā́ janaya yóniṣu prajā́ḥ | iháiva prāṇáḥ sakhyé no astu tám tvā paramēṣṭhín páry ahám ā́yuṣā várcasā dadhātu

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

O Lord of Speech, beget for us good-mindedness and mind; in our cattle-stall beget cows, in the wombs beget offspring. Here, even here, let the Breath be ours in fellowship; thee may Paramesthin wholly establish—with life and with splendor—(as) I (recite).

Translation

ਹੇ ਵਾਚਸਪਤੇ, ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਸੌਮਨਸ (ਸੁਮਨਤਾ/ਸ਼ੁਭ-ਭਾਵ) ਅਤੇ ਮਨ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ; ਸਾਡੇ ਗੋਸ਼ਠੇ (ਗੋਸ਼ਾਲਾ) ਵਿੱਚ ਗਾਂਵਾਂ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ; ਯੋਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਜਾਃ (ਸੰਤਾਨ) ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ। ਇੱਥੇ ਹੀ, ਇਸੇ ਥਾਂ, ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਸਾਡੀ ਸਖ੍ਯ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹੇ। ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ਠਿਨ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ (ਪਰ੍ਯਹ) ਆਯੁਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਵਰਚਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰਨ—ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਪਾਠ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
