Sukta 2
यस्मिन् देवा अमृजत यस्मिन् मनुष्याऽ उत। तस्मिन् घृतस्तावो मृष्ट्वा त्वमग्ने दिवं रुह
yásmin devā́ amṛ́jata yásmin manuṣyā́ utá | tásmin ghṛtástāvo mṛṣṭvā́ tvám agne dívam ruha ||
In which the Gods have cleansed them, in which men also cleanse—therein, when thou hast cleansed with the ghee-stream, O Agni, ascend unto heaven.
ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਵੀ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ—ਉਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ, ਹੇ ਅਗਨੀ, ਘ੍ਰਿਤ-ਧਾਰਾ ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਵਰਗ ਨੂੰ ਚੜ੍ਹ।
