Sukta 9
उद् वेपय त्वमर्बुदेऽमित्राणाममूः सिचः । जयांश्च जिष्णुश्चामित्रां जयतामिन्द्रमेदिनौ
úd vepaya tvám arbude ’mítrāṇām amū́ḥ sícaḥ | jáyāṃś ca jíṣṇuś cā́mítrāṃ jáyatām índra-medínau ||
Shake forth, O Arbuda, those effusions of the foes; and let the Victorious and the Conquering conquer the enemies—Indra-strong, Indra-full.
ਹੇ ਅਰਬੁਦ, ਤੂੰ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਉਹ ਸ੍ਰਾਵ/ਉਛਾਲ ਝੰਝੋੜ ਕੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ; ਅਤੇ ਜਯਸ਼ੀਲ ਤੇ ਜਿਸ਼੍ਣੁ—ਇੰਦਰ-ਬਲਵਾਨ, ਇੰਦਰ-ਪੂਰਨ—ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤਣ, ਪਰਾਜਿਤ ਕਰਨ।
