दण्डमित्रयोस्तु साधारणे कार्ये सारतः स्वयुद्धदेशकाललाभाद्विशेषः ॥ कZ_०८.१.५७ ॥

Transliteration

daṇḍa-mitrayos tu sādhāraṇe kārye sārataḥ sva-yuddha-deśa-kāla-lābhād viśeṣaḥ

Translation

ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਦੰਡ ਅਤੇ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਇੱਕੋ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕੰਮ ਲਈ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਹੋਣ, ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਦਾ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਯੁੱਧ-ਸਮਰੱਥਾ, ਦੇਸ਼/ਭੂ-ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼, ਕਾਲ (ਸਮਾਂ) ਅਤੇ ਲਾਭ (ਉਮੀਦਿਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ) ਤੋਂ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
