स्कन्धावारनिवेशः स्कन्धावारप्रयाणम् बलव्यसनावस्कन्दकालरक्षणं कूटयुद्धविकल्पाः स्वसैन्योत्साहनं स्वबलान्यबलव्यायोगः युद्धभूमयः पत्त्यश्वरथहस्तिकर्माणि पक्षकक्षोरस्यानां बलाग्रतो व्यूहविभागः सारफल्गुबलविभागः पत्त्यश्वरथहस्तियुद्धानि दण्डभोगमण्डलासंहतव्यूहव्यूहनम् तस्य प्रतिव्यूहस्थापनं इति सांग्रामिकं दशममधिकरणम् ॥ कZ_०१.१.१२ ॥

skandhāvāra-niveśaḥ skandhāvāra-prayāṇam balavyasana-avaskanda-kāla-rakṣaṇaṃ kūṭa-yuddha-vikalpāḥ svasainyotsāhanaṃ svabala-anyabala-vyāyogaḥ yuddhabhūmayaḥ patty-aśva-ratha-hasti-karmāṇi pakṣa-kakṣa-urasyānāṃ balāgrato vyūha-vibhāgaḥ sāra-phalgubala-vibhāgaḥ patty-aśva-ratha-hasti-yuddhāni daṇḍa-bhoga-maṇḍalā-saṃhata-vyūha-vyūhanam tasya prativyūha-sthāpanaṃ iti sāṃgrāmikaṃ daśamam adhikaraṇam

ਦਸਵਾਂ ਅਧਿਕਰਣ ‘ਸਾਂਗ੍ਰਾਮਿਕ’ (ਯੁੱਧ-ਵਿਗਿਆਨ) ਹੈ—ਸਕੰਧਾਵਾਰ (ਸੈਣਿਕ ਛਾਵਣੀ) ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਛਾਵਣੀ ਤੋਂ ਕੂਚ; ਫੌਜ ਦੀ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰੀ/ਵਿਪੱਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਛਾਪਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਅ; ਕੂਟ/ਅਨਿਯਮਿਤ ਯੁੱਧ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਲਪ; ਆਪਣੀ ਫੌਜ ਦਾ ਹੌਸਲਾ ਵਧਾਉਣਾ; ਆਪਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਦੇ ਬਲ ਦੀ ਤੁਲਨਾਤਮਕ ਪਰਖ; ਯੁੱਧਭੂਮੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ; ਪੈਦਲ, ਘੁੜਸਵਾਰ, ਰਥ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਥੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ; ਅਗਲੇ ਮੋਰਚੇ ‘ਤੇ ਵਿਊਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਖਾਂ, ਪਾਸਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡਣਾ; ਸਾਰ (ਮੁੱਖ) ਅਤੇ ਫਲਗੁ (ਸਹਾਇਕ) ਬਲ ਦੀ ਵੰਡ; ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਲਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਯੁੱਧ ਦਾ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ; ਦੰਡ, ਭੋਗ, ਮੰਡਲ, ਸੰਹਤ ਆਦਿ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਵਿਊਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ; ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਵਿਊਹ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰਨਾ।
