हीनमनुहन्यात् न त्वेव स्वभूमिप्राप्तं त्यक्तात्मानं वा ॥ कZ_१०.३.५६ ॥

Transliteration

hīnamanuhanyāt na tveva svabhūmiprāptaṃ tyaktātmānaṃ vā

Translation

ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ; ਪਰ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ, ਜਾਂ ਜੋ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਬੇਪਰਵਾਹ/ਬੇਕਾਬੂ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ (ਅਰਥਾਤ ‘ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਬੈਠਾ ਹੋਵੇ’), ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੰਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ।
