प्रबोधका बोधयन्ति न च बुध्यत्यसौ मृतः कौशल्या तं मृतं ज्ञात्वा हा हतास्मीति चाब्रवीत्

prabodhakā bodhayanti na ca budhyatyasau mṛtaḥ kauśalyā taṃ mṛtaṃ jñātvā hā hatāsmīti cābravīt

ਜਗਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਜਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਰਹੇ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਨਾ ਜਾਗਿਆ—ਉਹ ਮਰ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਸੀ। ਕੌਸ਼ਲਿਆ ਨੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਹਾਏ! ਮੈਂ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਹੋ ਗਈ!”
