FAQs

It highlights royal ritual practice—performing the Aśvamedha as a state-level yajña—paired with comprehensive dāna (charitable gifting) as a formal duty of kingship.

It compresses multiple domains into one instruction-set: Vedic ritual (Aśvamedha), ethics of giving (dāna), and political duty (prajā-pālana), showing how the Agni Purāṇa integrates religion and governance.

By worshipping Vāsudeva through yajña, practicing dāna, and protecting subjects, the ruler accumulates religious merit (puṇya) while aligning kingship with dharma and devotion.
