brahmovāca | namo rudrāya śāṃtāya brahmaṇe paramātmane | tvaṃ hi viśvasṛjāṃ sraṣṭā dhātā tvaṃ prapitāmahaḥ
Brahmā
Tirtha: Kedāra (Kedāranātha)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Rudra/Śiva (Mahādeva)
Scene: Brahmā, four-faced and seated on a lotus, offers folded-hands salutations to serene Rudra—radiant, ash-smeared, with matted locks—against a Himalayan sacred backdrop suggestive of Kedāra.
Śiva is praised not only as a deity but as the Supreme Reality (Brahman/Paramātman) behind creation and sustenance.
Kedārakhaṇḍa provides the sacred-geography frame, but the verse itself is theological praise rather than tīrtha-description.
Recitation of namaskāra (salutations) and stuti is implied as a devotional act.
