tapasā tena mahatā taptamāsīccarācaram | tadā surāsurāḥ sarve brahmāṇaṃ śaraṇaṃ gatāḥ

ସେଇ ମହାତପସ୍ୟାରେ ଚରାଚର ସମସ୍ତ ଜଗତ ଦଗ୍ଧ ହେଲା; ତେବେ ସମସ୍ତ ଦେବ ଓ ଅସୁର ବ୍ରହ୍ମାଙ୍କ ଶରଣକୁ ଗଲେ।
