kathāyāṃ kīrtyamānāyāṃ ye gacchaṃtyanyato narāḥ | bhogāṃtare praṇaśyaṃti teṣāṃ dārāśca saṃpadaḥ

କଥା କୀର୍ତ୍ତିତ ହେଉଥିବାବେଳେ ଯେ ପୁରୁଷମାନେ ଛାଡ଼ି ଅନ୍ୟତ୍ର ଯାଆନ୍ତି—ଭୋଗର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ହିଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଓ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ନଶ୍ଟ ହୁଏ।
