तं त्वा हस्तिनो मधुमन्तमद्रिभिर्दुहन्त्यप्सु वृषभं दश क्षिपः । इन्द्रं सोम मादयन्दैव्यं जनं सिन्धोरिवोर्मिः पवमानो अर्षसि ॥

táṃ tvā hastíno mádhumantam ádribhir duhánty apsú vṛṣabháṃ dáśa kṣípaḥ | índraṃ soma mādayan daívyam jánaṃ síndhor ivormíḥ pavamāno arṣasi ||

ହେ ସୋମ, ମଧୁମୟ ତୁମକୁ ନିପୁଣ ହସ୍ତମାନେ ଗ୍ରାବ (ପଥର) ଦ୍ୱାରା—ଜଳମଧ୍ୟରେ—ଦଶ ଆଙ୍ଗୁଳିରୁ ବୃଷଭକୁ ଦୋହିବା ପରି ଦୋହନ୍ତି। ଇନ୍ଦ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ କରି, ଆମ ଭିତରର ଦିବ୍ୟ ଜନକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ହର୍ଷିତ କରି, ତୁମେ ପବମାନ ହୋଇ ସିନ୍ଧୁର ଊର୍ମି (ତରଙ୍ଗ) ପରି ବେଗେ ଅର୍ଷ କର।
