Transliteration

dhīrā́ tv asya mahinā́ janū́ṃṣi ví yas tastámbha ródasī cid urvī́ | prá nā́kam ṛṣváṃ nunude bṛhántam dvitā́ nákṣatraṃ papráthat ca bhū́ma ||

Translation

ତସ୍ୟ ମହିନା ଧୀରାଃ ଜନୂଂଷି ବି—ସେଇ ଏକଙ୍କ ମହିମାରେ ଧୀର (ଅଚଳ) ଦୃଷ୍ଟି-ଶକ୍ତିମାନେ ଜାଗ୍ରତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି; ଯଃ ଉର୍ବୀ ରୋଦସୀ ଚିତ୍ ତସ୍ତମ୍ଭ—ଯିଏ ଦୁଇ ବିଶାଳ ଲୋକକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଦୃଢ଼ କରି ସ୍ଥାପିତ କଲେ। ସ ବୃହନ୍ତଂ ଋଷ୍ୱଂ ନାକଂ ପ୍ର ନୁନୁଦେ—ଉଚ୍ଚ, ବିଶାଳ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗକୁ ଆଗକୁ ଧକ୍କା ଦେଇ ପ୍ରକାଶ କଲେ; ଦ୍ୱିତା ନକ୍ଷତ୍ରଂ ପପ୍ରଥତ୍ ଚ ଭୂମ—ନକ୍ଷତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱି-ଆସନକୁ ବିସ୍ତାର କରି ଭୂମିର ଆଧାରକୁ ପସାରିଲେ—ଋତର କ୍ରମବଦ୍ଧ ବିଶାଳତା ସ୍ଥାପନ କଲେ, ଯେଉଁଠାରେ ଚେତନା ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଏ।
