Sukta 10.1

अत उ त्वा पितुभृतो जनित्रीरन्नावृधं प्रति चरन्त्यन्नैः । ता ईं प्रत्येषि पुनरन्यरूपा असि त्वं विक्षु मानुषीषु होता ॥

Transliteration

áta u tvā pitú-bhṛ́to jánitrīr annā-vṛ́dhaṁ práti caranty annáiḥ | tā́ īm práty eṣi púnar anyá-rūpā ási tváṁ vikṣú mā́nuṣīṣu hótā ||

Translation

ଏହିହେତୁ ପିତୁଭୃତ—ପୋଷକ ଶକ୍ତି ବହନ କରୁଥିବା ଜନିତ୍ରୀ ମାତୃମାନେ—ଅନ୍ନ ସହିତ ତୁମ ପାଖକୁ ଆଗେଇ ଆସନ୍ତି, ହେ ଅନ୍ତଃସାରରେ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଉଥିବା ଜନ। ତୁମେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରତିଉତ୍ତର ଦେଇ ପୁନଃପୁନଃ ଯାଉଛ, ସଦା ନୂତନ ନୂତନ ରୂପ ଧାରଣ କରି; ମାନୁଷୀ ବିକ୍ଷୁମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତୁମେ ହୋତା—ଆହ୍ୱାନକ ଯାଜକ—ଅଟ।
