tena sugrīvavākyena sāvamānena mānitaḥ |

agner ājyāhutasyeva tejas tasyābhyavardhata ||

ସୁଗ୍ରୀବଙ୍କ ସେହି ବାକ୍ୟରେ—ଯାହାରେ ଅବମାନର ଭାବ ଥିଲା, ତଥାପି ଉତ୍ସାହ ମଧ୍ୟ ଥିଲା—ସେ ଚୁବିଗଲା ଓ ଉଦ୍ଦୀପିତ ହେଲା; ଘୃତାହୁତି ପାଇଥିବା ଅଗ୍ନି ପରି ତାହାର ତେଜ ଅଧିକ ବଢ଼ିଗଲା।
