एवमुक्तो हरिश्रेष्ठस्तदा रक्षोगणेश्वरम्।।5.50.12।।अब्रवीन्नास्मि शक्रस्य यमस्य वरुणस्य वा।धनदेन न मे सख्यं विष्णुना नास्मि चोदितः।।5.50.13।।जातिरेव मम त्वेषा वानरोऽहमिहागतः।
evam ukto hariśreṣṭhas tadā rakṣogaṇeśvaram || 5.50.12 ||
abravīn nāsmi śakrasya yamasya varuṇasya vā |
dhanadena na me sakhyaṃ viṣṇunā nāsmi coditaḥ || 5.50.13 ||
jātir eva mama tv eṣā vānaro ’ham ihāgataḥ |
ଏଭଳି କୁହାଯାଇ ଭାନରଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ହନୁମାନ ସେତେବେଳେ ରାକ୍ଷସଗଣେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ: “ମୁଁ ଇନ୍ଦ୍ର, ଯମ କିମ୍ବା ବରୁଣଙ୍କ ଦୂତ ନୁହେଁ; କୁବେରଙ୍କ ସହ ମୋର କୌଣସି ସଖ୍ୟ ନାହିଁ; ବିଷ୍ଣୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୋତେ ପଠାଇନାହାନ୍ତି। ଜନ୍ମତଃ ମୁଁ ଭାନର, ଏଠାକୁ ଆସିଛି।”
