नानामेघघनप्रख्यं प्रहृष्टमिव सर्वतः।नानापक्षिगणैर्युक्तं नानाव्यालमृगैर्युतम्।।।।दिदृक्षमाणौ वैदेहीं तद्वनं तौ विचिक्यतुः।तत्र तत्रावतिष्ठन्तौ सीताहरणकर्शितौ।।।।
nānāmeghaghanaprakhyaṃ prahṛṣṭam iva sarvataḥ |
nānāpakṣigaṇair yuktaṃ nānāvyālamṛgair yutam ||
didṛkṣamāṇau vaidehīṃ tad vanaṃ tau vicikyatuḥ |
tatra tatrāvatiṣṭhantau sītāharaṇakarśitau ||
ନାନା ମେଘଘନ ପରି ଘନ ଦେଖାଯାଉଥିବା ଏବଂ ସବୁଦିଗରେ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ଭଳି ଲାଗୁଥିବା ସେ ଜଙ୍ଗଲ ନାନା ପକ୍ଷୀଗଣରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଥିଲା, ଏବଂ ନାନା ସର୍ପ ଓ ମୃଗରେ ଯୁକ୍ତ ଥିଲା। ବୈଦେହୀଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ଆତୁର ସେ ଦୁଇଜଣ, ସୀତାହରଣରେ କ୍ଳାନ୍ତ ହୋଇ, ତତ୍ର ତତ୍ର ରୁକି ରୁକି ସେ ବନକୁ ଖୋଜିଲେ।
