FAQs

It implies continued association with the Pitṛs (ancestral realm or ancestral companionship) enduring up to a cosmic endpoint—“ābhūta-saṃplava,” the dissolution of beings—highlighting a long, cosmically framed ancestral continuity.

Ratnācala literally means “Jewel Mountain.” The verse functions as a transition: the narrator finishes a point about ancestral wandering and announces a forthcoming exposition on Ratnācala as an “anuttama” (unsurpassed) sacred स्थल/region.

By placing human/ancestral destiny within cosmic time and then turning to a sacred place’s greatness, the verse encourages reverence for dharma, ancestral obligations, and sacred geography as enduring frameworks that outlast ordinary lifespans.
