भार्योवाच । सत्यमुक्तं त्वया राजन्नास्ति धर्मस्य वै फलम् । वेदशास्त्रपुराणेषु ये पठंति च ब्राह्मणाः
bhāryovāca | satyamuktaṃ tvayā rājannāsti dharmasya vai phalam | vedaśāstrapurāṇeṣu ye paṭhaṃti ca brāhmaṇāḥ
ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟା କହିଲା—ହେ ରାଜନ୍, ତୁମେ ସତ୍ୟ କହିଛ; ଯେ ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣମାନେ କେବଳ ବେଦ, ଶାସ୍ତ୍ର ଓ ପୁରାଣ ପଢ଼ନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଧର୍ମର ଫଳ ନାହିଁ।

Concept: Mere recitation without inner transformation and right conduct does not yield dharma’s true fruit; scripture must become lived devotion and ethics.
Application: Pair study/chanting with compassion, honesty, restraint, and daily remembrance of Viṣṇu; measure spirituality by character change, not volume of recitation.
