सूत उवाच । विस्तरेण प्रवक्ष्यामि इन्द्रत्वे येन सत्तमः । प्राप्त एष महाभागो यथा पुण्यतमेन च

ସୂତ କହିଲେ—ଏହି ପରମ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ମହାଭାଗ ଯେପରି ଇନ୍ଦ୍ରତ୍ୱ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ କଲେ, ଏବଂ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପୁଣ୍ୟମୟ ଉପାୟରେ ତାହା କିପରି ଲଭିଲେ, ମୁଁ ବିସ୍ତାରରେ କହିବି।
