शृणु वाक्यं सहस्राक्ष तव कार्यं कृतं मया । तप एव हि कुर्वन्सन्दारुणं मुनिपुंगवः

śṛṇu vākyaṃ sahasrākṣa tava kāryaṃ kṛtaṃ mayā | tapa eva hi kurvansandāruṇaṃ munipuṃgavaḥ

ହେ ସହସ୍ରାକ୍ଷ (ଇନ୍ଦ୍ର), ମୋ କଥା ଶୁଣ—ତୁମ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ମୁଁ ସମ୍ପାଦନ କରିଛି। ସେ ମୁନିପୁଙ୍ଗବ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ କଠୋର ଓ ଦାରୁଣ ତପ କରୁଛନ୍ତି।
