Adhyaya 61 — The Second Manvantara Begins: The Brahmin’s Swift Journey and Varuthini’s Temptation on Himavat
प्रादात् स ब्राह्मणश्चास्मै पादलेपम् उदारधीः ।
अभिमन्त्रयामास दिशं तेनाख्यातां च यत्नतः ॥
prādāt sa brāhmaṇaś cāsmai pāda-lepam udāra-dhīḥ |
abhimantrayāmāsa diśaṁ tenākhyātāṁ ca yatnataḥ ||
ତାପରେ ସେ ଉଦାରଚିତ୍ତ ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣ ତାଙ୍କୁ ପାଦଲେପ (ପାଦମଲମ) ଦେଲେ, ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦିଷ୍ଟ ଦିଗକୁ ସାବଧାନରେ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଦ୍ୱାରା ଅଭିମନ୍ତ୍ରିତ କଲେ।
