Sandhyā is a liminal, sacred junction of time meant for recollection and worship; ordinary gratifications and disruptions (food, sex, travel) are suspended to prioritize spiritual alignment.
Conduct regulation (ācāra) rather than cosmology or genealogical history.
Twilight symbolizes transition; restraining sense-activities at transitions stabilizes prāṇa and attention, making the mind fit for mantra and contemplation.
