युगपज्जलमग्निं च बिभृयान्न विचक्षणः ।

गुरुदेवान् प्रति तथा न च पादौ प्रसारयेत् ॥

Transliteration

yugapajjalamagniñca bibhṛyānna vicakṣaṇaḥ / gurudevān prati tathā na ca pādau prasārayet

Translation

ବିବେକୀ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଏକେ ସମୟରେ ଜଳ ଓ ଅଗ୍ନିକୁ ସହିତେ ବହନ କରିବା ଉଚିତ ନୁହେଁ। ଏହିପରି ଗୁରୁ କିମ୍ବା ଦେବତାଙ୍କ ସନ୍ନିଧିରେ ପାଦ ପ୍ରସାରିତ କରିବା ଉଚିତ ନୁହେଁ।
