Adhyaya 34 — Madālāsā’s Instruction on Sadācāra (Householder Conduct, Purity, and Daily Rites)
कृत्वापसव्यं वायव्यां यक्ष्मैतत्तेति भाजनात् । अन्नावशेषमिच्छन् वै तोयं दद्याद्यथाविधि ॥
kṛtvāpasavyaṃ vāyavyāṃ yakṣmaitatteti bhājanāt | annāvaśeṣamicchan vai toyaṃ dadyādyathāvidhi ||
ତାପରେ ବାୟବ୍ୟ (ଉତ୍ତର-ପଶ୍ଚିମ) ଦିଗରେ ଯଜ୍ଞୋପବୀତକୁ ଓଲଟାଇ ଅପସବ୍ୟ ହୋଇ, ‘ଯକ୍ଷ୍ମ ଏତତ୍ ତେ’ ବୋଲି କହି ପାତ୍ରରୁ (କ୍ରିୟା କରୁ)। ପରେ ଯଦି ସେ ଅନ୍ନଶେଷ ଚାହେ, ତେବେ ବିଧିମତେ ଜଳ ଦେଉ।
