भोजनं हन्तकारं वा अग्रं भिक्षामथापि वा ॥

Transliteration

agraṃ caturguṇaṃ prāhur hantakāraṃ dvijottamāḥ / bhojanaṃ hantakāraṃ vā agraṃ bhikṣām athāpi vā

ଦ୍ୱିଜଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠମାନେ କହନ୍ତି ଯେ ‘ପ୍ରଥମ ଭାଗ’ ଚତୁର୍ବିଧ ଓ ସେହିଟି ‘ହନ୍ତକାର’। କିମ୍ବା ଭୋଜନକୁ ହିଁ ‘ହନ୍ତକାର’ ବୋଲି, ଏବଂ ପ୍ରଥମ ଭାଗ କିମ୍ବା ଭିକ୍ଷାକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେହି ନାମରେ ଡାକନ୍ତି।
