Adhyaya 22 — Kuvalayashva’s Death through Daitya-Deceit and Madalasa’s Self-Immolation
पुत्रावूचतुः ततः स राजा संस्कारं पुत्रपत्नीमलम्भयत् ।
निर्गम्य च बहिः स्नातो ददौ पुत्राय चोदकम् ॥
putrāvūcatuḥ tataḥ sa rājā saṃskāraṃ putrapatnīm alambhayat | nirgamya ca bahiḥ snāto dadau putrāya codakam ||
ତାପରେ ସେଇ ଦୁଇ ପୁତ୍ର କହିଲେ। ତଦନନ୍ତରେ ରାଜା ପୁତ୍ରବଧୂଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ସଂସ୍କାରକର୍ମ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା କରି କରାଇଲେ। ବାହାରକୁ ଯାଇ ସ୍ନାନ କରି, ପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ଉଦକଦାନ (ଜଳାଞ୍ଜଳି) ମଧ୍ୟ ଦେଲେ।
