Shloka 10
सो<यं मृत्युवशं यात: कथं जिष्णुर्महाबल: । अयं ममाशां संहत्य शेते भूमौ धनंजय:
vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca | so 'yaṃ mṛtyuvaśaṃ yātaḥ kathaṃ jiṣṇur mahābalaḥ | ayaṃ mamāśāṃ saṃhatya śete bhūmau dhanaṃjayaḥ | dharmaputro mahābāhur vilalāpa suvistaram ||
ବୈଶମ୍ପାୟନ କହିଲେ— “ଏହି ମହାବଳୀ ଜିଷ୍ଣୁ (ଅର୍ଜୁନ) କିପରି ମୃତ୍ୟୁର ଅଧୀନ ହେଲା? ଏହି ଧନଞ୍ଜୟ ତ ମୋର ସମସ୍ତ ଆଶାକୁ ଚୁର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରି ଭୂମିରେ ପଡ଼ିଛି ଭଳି ଲାଗୁଛି।” ଏହା ଦେଖି ମହାବାହୁ ଧର୍ମପୁତ୍ର ଯୁଧିଷ୍ଠିର ଶୋକତପ୍ତ ହୃଦୟରେ ଦୀର୍ଘକାଳ ବିଲାପ କଲେ।
