भीम उवाच प्रातिकाम्यनयत् कृष्णां सभायां प्रेष्यवत् तदा । न मया निहततस्तत्र तेन प्राप्ता: सम संशयम्,भीमसेनने कहा--जब प्रातिकामीकी जगह दूत बनकर गया हुआ दु:शासन द्रौपदीको कौरवोंकी सभामें दासीकी भाँति बलपूर्वक खींच ले आया, उस समय मैंने जो उसका वध नहीं कर डाला; इसीके कारण हमलोग ऐसे धर्मसंकटमें पड़े हैं
bhīma uvāca | prātikāmyānayat kṛṣṇāṃ sabhāyāṃ preṣyavat tadā | na mayā nihatatas tatra tena prāptāḥ sma saṃśayam ||
ଭୀମ କହିଲେ—ସେତେବେଳେ ପ୍ରାତିକାମୀ ଦାସ-ଦୂତ ପରି ହୋଇ କୃଷ୍ଣା (ଦ୍ରୌପଦୀ)ଙ୍କୁ କୌରବସଭାକୁ ଦାସୀ ପରି ଟାଣି ଆଣିଥିଲା; ମୁଁ ସେଠାରେ ତାହାକୁ ବଧ କରିନଥିଲି। ସେଇ ଅପରାଧରୁ ଆଜି ଆମେ ଏହି ଘୋର ଧର୍ମସଙ୍କଟ ଓ ସନ୍ଦେହରେ ପଡ଼ିଛୁ।
