Guṇa-vibhāga and Prāṇa–Agni–Yoga Upadeśa (गुणविभाग तथा प्राण-अग्नि-योगोपदेश)

यस्तं महासुरं रौद्रं वधिष्यति महीपति: । तेजस्तं वैष्णवमिति प्रवेक्ष्यति दुरासदम्‌

yaḥ taṁ mahāsuraṁ raudraṁ vadhiṣyati mahīpatiḥ | tejas taṁ vaiṣṇavam iti pravekṣyati durāsadam, bhūpāla |

ହେ ମହୀପତି! ଯେ ରାଜା ସେଇ ମହାନ ଓ ରୌଦ୍ର ମହାସୁରକୁ ବଧ କରିବ, ସେଇ ଦୁରାସଦ ବୀରର ଭିତରେ ବୈଷ୍ଣବ ତେଜ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବ।

When a ruler undertakes a righteous task—removing a terrifying force of adharma—divine support (Vaiṣṇava tejas) strengthens human effort. The verse frames kingship as protective duty, empowered by grace when aligned with dharma.

Uttanka addresses a king and declares a boon received earlier from Lord Viṣṇu: whichever king resolves to kill the dreadful great asura will have Viṣṇu’s splendor enter him, making him formidable and increasing his power for the deed.
