स हि प्रयत्नमकरोत् तीव्रमात्मविमोक्षणे न चैनमशकद् वीर: कथंचित् प्रतिबाधितुम्
sa hi prayatnam akarot tīvram ātmavimokṣaṇe na cainam aśakad vīraḥ kathaṃcit pratibādhitum
ବୈଶମ୍ପାୟନ କହିଲେ— ନିଜକୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସେ ଭୟଙ୍କର ପ୍ରୟାସ କଲେ; କିନ୍ତୁ ବୀର ଭୀମସେନ କୌଣସି ପ୍ରକାରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେଇ ସର୍ପକୁ ରୋକିବା କିମ୍ବା ପରାଜିତ କରିବାରେ ସଫଳ ହେଲେ ନାହିଁ।
