अतकिक्रान्तास्तु वेगेन जगामानुसूत: शनै: ततो5मरवरप्रख्यो भीमसेनो महाबल:

Transliteration

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: atikrāntās tu vegena jagāma anusūtaḥ śanaiḥ; tato ’maravaraprakhyo bhīmaseno mahābalaḥ.

Translation

ବୈଶମ୍ପାୟନ କହିଲେ: ଭୟରେ ସୀମା ଅତିକ୍ରମ କରି ସର୍ପମାନେ ମହାବେଗରେ ପଳାଇଲେ; ମହାବଳୀ ଭୀମସେନ ତେବେ ଧୀରେ ଧୀରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁସରଣ କଲେ। ପରେ ଦେବଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ତେଜସ୍ବୀ ସେ ମହାବଳୀ ଆଗକୁ ଯାଇ, ଦର୍ଶନମାତ୍ରେ ରୋମାଞ୍ଚକର ଏକ ବିଶାଳ ଅଜଗରକୁ ଦେଖିଲେ; ସେ ପର୍ବତର ଦୁର୍ଗମ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ବସି ନିଜ ଦେହରେ ଏକ ବିଶାଳ କନ୍ଦରାକୁ ଢାଙ୍କି ରଖିଥିଲା।
