तत्र राजसहसैश्न कुरुभिश्चाभिसंवृतम्
tatra rājasahasraiś ca kurubhiś cābhisaṃvṛtam
ସେଠାରେ ସେଇ ସ୍ଥାନଟି ସହସ୍ର ସହସ୍ର ରାଜା ଓ କୁରୁମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସବୁଦିଗରୁ ଘେରାଯାଇ, ଲୋକସମୂହରେ ଠସେଇ ଥିଲା—ଯେନ ଏକ ମହାରାଜସଭା, ଯେଉଁଠି ସତ୍ତା, ସନ୍ଧି-ମିତ୍ରତା ଓ ଧର୍ମର ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ ସାମ୍ନାସାମ୍ନି ତୋଳାଯାଉଥିଲା।
वैशम्पायन उवाच

Vaiśampāyana describes a scene where the location is densely surrounded by thousands of kings along with the Kurus, setting the stage for a major council-like gathering connected to the unfolding conflict.
