धृतराष्ट्रस्य बलाबलचिन्ता

शमो मे रोचते नित्य॑ पार्थैसतात न विग्रह: । कुरुभ्यो हि सदा मन्ये पाण्डवान्‌ शक्तिमत्तरान्‌

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

śamo me rocate nityaṃ pārthaiḥ sātatā na vigrahaḥ |

kurubhyo hi sadā manye pāṇḍavān śaktimattarān ||

ବୈଶମ୍ପାୟନ କହିଲେ—ମୋତେ ସଦା ଶାନ୍ତି ହିଁ ଭଲ ଲାଗେ; ପୃଥାପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କ ସହ ମୁଁ ବିଗ୍ରହ ଚାହେଁ ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ମୁଁ ସଦା ପାଣ୍ଡବମାନଙ୍କୁ କୁରୁମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ମନେ କରେ।
