सेनाग्रगं दंशितं भीमसेनं स्वालक्षणं वीरहणं परेषाम्‌ | घ्नन्तं चमूमन्तकसंनिकाशं तदा स्मर्ता वचनस्थातिमानी

Transliteration

saṅjaya uvāca | senāgra-gaṁ daṁśitaṁ bhīmasenaṁ svalakṣaṇaṁ vīrahaṇaṁ pareṣām | ghnantaṁ camūm antaka-sannikāśaṁ tadā smartā vacanasthātimānī ||

Translation

ସଞ୍ଜୟ କହିଲେ—ଯେତେବେଳେ କବଚଧାରୀ ଭୀମସେନ ସେନାର ଅଗ୍ରଭାଗରେ ଭୟଙ୍କର ବେଗରେ ଧାଉଥିବେ—ନିଜ ସ୍ୱଲକ୍ଷଣରେ ଚିହ୍ନିତ ହେଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଦୁର୍ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ—ଏବଂ ଶତ୍ରୁପକ୍ଷର ବୀରମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଂହାର କରି, ଅନ୍ତକ (ମୃତ୍ୟୁ) ସମାନ ହୋଇ ବିପକ୍ଷ ସେନାକୁ ଧ୍ୱଂସ କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିବେ, ସେତେବେଳେ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଅଭିମାନୀ ଦୁର୍ୟୋଧନ ମୋର ଏହି କଥା ସ୍ମରଣ କରିବ।
