Sanatsujāta-Āhvāna (Summoning Sanatsujāta) — Vidura’s Invocation and Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Doubt
येषां धर्मे च विस्पर्धा तेषां तज्ज्ञानसाधनम् | ते ब्राह्मणा इतो मुक्ता: स्वर्ग यान्ति त्रिविष्टपम्,जिनकी धर्मके पालनमें स्पर्धा है, उनके लिये वह ज्ञानका साधन है; किंतु वे ब्राह्मण (यदि सकाम-भावसे उसका अनुष्ठान करें) तो मृत्युके पश्चात् यहाँसे देवताओंके निवासस्थान स्वर्गमें जाते हैं
yeṣāṃ dharme ca vispṛdhā teṣāṃ tajjñāna-sādhanam | te brāhmaṇā ito muktāḥ svargaṃ yānti triviṣṭapam ||
ଯେମାନେ ଧର୍ମାଚରଣରେ ସ୍ପର୍ଧାସହିତ ପ୍ରୟାସ କରନ୍ତି, ସେହି ପ୍ରୟାସ ତାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଜ୍ଞାନର ସାଧନ ହୁଏ। ଏବଂ ସେହି ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣମାନେ ଦେହତ୍ୟାଗ ପରେ ଏଠାରୁ ମୁକ୍ତ ହୋଇ ଦେବମଣ୍ଡଳର ନିବାସ ତ୍ରିବିଷ୍ଟପ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗକୁ ଯାଆନ୍ତି।
सनत्युजात उवाच
Sanatsujāta distinguishes outcomes: earnest emulation in dharma can function as a means toward knowledge, yet when the practice remains oriented toward merit and results, the stated fruit is heavenly attainment (svarga/Triviṣṭapa) after death rather than liberation through knowledge.
In the Sanatsujātīya discourse within Udyoga Parva, Sanatsujāta instructs Dhṛtarāṣṭra on dharma, knowledge, and the destiny of practitioners, here describing how those who compete to uphold dharma gain a spiritual instrument, and how Brahmins so engaged reach heaven after departing this world.
