नातः श्रीमत्तरं किंचिदन््यत् पथ्यतमं मतम् । प्रभविष्णोर्यथा तात क्षमा सर्वत्र सर्वदा,तात समर्थ पुरुषके लिये सब जगह और सब समयमें क्षमाके समान हितकारक और अत्यन्त श्रीसम्पन्न बनानेवाला उपाय दूसरा नहीं माना गया है
nātaḥ śrīmattaraṁ kiñcid anyat pathyatamaṁ matam | prabhaviṣṇor yathā tāta kṣamā sarvatra sarvadā ||
ତାତ, ସମର୍ଥ ଓ ପ୍ରଭାବଶାଳୀ ପୁରୁଷ ପାଇଁ—ମୋ ମତରେ—ସବୁଠାରେ ଓ ସବୁ ସମୟରେ କ୍ଷମା ପରି ହିତକର ଓ ଶ୍ରୀଦାୟକ ଅନ୍ୟ କିଛି ନାହିଁ।

Forgiveness (kṣamā) is presented as the most wholesome and most prosperity-bringing practice, especially for a capable person; it preserves dharma, prevents escalation of conflict, and strengthens moral authority.
