द्वेष्यो न साधुर्भवति न मेधावी न पण्डित: । प्रिये शुभानि कार्याणि द्वेष्पे पापानि चैव ह,जिससे द्वेष हो जाता है, वह न साधु, न विद्वान् और न बुद्धिमान् ही जान पड़ता है। प्रिय व्यक्ति (मित्र आदि)-के तो सभी कर्म शुभ ही प्रतीत होते हैं और शत्रुके सभी कार्य पापमय
Translation
ଯାହା ପ୍ରତି ଦ୍ୱେଷ ଜନ୍ମେ, ସେ ନ ସାଧୁ, ନ ମେଧାବୀ, ନ ପଣ୍ଡିତ ବୋଲି ପ୍ରତୀତ ହୁଏ। ପ୍ରିୟଜନ (ମିତ୍ର ଆଦି)ଙ୍କ ସବୁ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଶୁଭ ଲାଗେ, ଏବଂ ଦ୍ୱେଷ୍ୟ (ଶତ୍ରୁ)ଙ୍କ ସବୁ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ପାପମୟ ଲାଗେ।
