सुव्याहृतानि धीराणां फलत: परिचिन्त्य यः । अध्यवस्यति कार्येषु चिरं यशसि तिष्ठति,जो धीर पुरुषोंके वचनोंके परिणामपर विचार करके उन्हें कार्यरूपमें परिणत करता है, वह चिरकालतक यशका भागी बना रहता है
suvyāhṛtāni dhīrāṇāṁ phalataḥ paricintya yaḥ | adhyavasyati kāryeṣu ciraṁ yaśasi tiṣṭhati ||
ଯେ ଧୀର ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କ ସୁବଚନର ଫଳକୁ ବିଚାର କରି ତାହାକୁ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରୂପ ଦେଇ ଦୃଢ଼ ନିଶ୍ଚୟରେ କାମ କରେ, ସେ ଦୀର୍ଘକାଳ ଯଶରେ ଅବସ୍ଥିତ ରହେ।

Good advice becomes truly valuable only when one evaluates its likely results and then decisively translates it into action; such practical wisdom leads to enduring fame and respect.
In Udyoga Parva, Vidura offers moral and political counsel; here he emphasizes to the listener that discerning the consequences of wise words and acting on them is the path to lasting honor.
