एकार्णवे च स्वपता निहतौ मधुकैटभौ । जन्मान्तरमुपागम्य हयग्रीवस्तथा हत:

Transliteration

ekārṇave ca svapatā nihatāu madhukaiṭabhau | janmāntaram upāgamya hayagrīvas tathā hataḥ ||

Translation

ଏକାର୍ଣ୍ଣବରେ ଯୋଗନିଦ୍ରାରେ ଶୟନ କରୁଥିବାବେଳେ ମଧୁ ଓ କୈଟଭ ନିହତ ହୋଇଥିଲେ; ଏବଂ ପରେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଜନ୍ମ ଧାରଣ କରି ହୟଗ୍ରୀବ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେହିପରି ହତ ହେଲା।
