छिद्यते ह्याततं सर्व प्रमाणं पश्य भारत । श्रेयस्ते दुर्जनात्‌ तात पाण्डवैः सह संगतम्‌

Transliteration

chidyate hy ātatam sarva-pramāṇaṃ paśya bhārata | śreyas te durjanāt tāta pāṇḍavaiḥ saha saṅgatam ||

Translation

ବୈଶମ୍ପାୟନ କହିଲେ—ହେ ଭାରତ, ଦେଖ; ଇର୍ଷ୍ୟାଳୁ ଓ ଦୁଷ୍ଟବୁଦ୍ଧି ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଯେତେ ବିସ୍ତୃତ ପ୍ରମାଣ ଦେଖାଇଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେସବୁ କାଟି ନିଷ୍ଫଳ କରାଯାଏ। ତେଣୁ, ତାତ, ଦୁର୍ଜନସଙ୍ଗଠାରୁ ପାଣ୍ଡବମାନଙ୍କ ସହ ସଙ୍ଗତି ଓ ସନ୍ଧି କରିବା ତୁମ ପାଇଁ ଅଧିକ ଶ୍ରେୟସ୍କର।
