यन्त्राणि विविधान्येव क्रियास्तेषां च वर्णिता: । अवमर्द: प्रतीघात: केतनानां च भज्जनम्‌

Transliteration

yantrāṇi vividhāny eva kriyās teṣāṃ ca varṇitāḥ | avamardaḥ pratīghātaḥ ketanānāṃ ca bhajjanam ||

Translation

ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ସେଠାରେ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ପ୍ରକାର ଯୁଦ୍ଧ-ଯନ୍ତ୍ର ଏବଂ ସେଗୁଡ଼ିକର ପ୍ରୟୋଗ-ପଦ୍ଧତି ମଧ୍ୟ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣିତ। ଶତ୍ରୁର ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରକୁ ଚାପି ଦେବା, ତାଙ୍କ ସେନା ଉପରେ ପ୍ରହାର କରିବା, ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କର ଶିବିର ଓ ନିବାସ-ସ୍ଥାନଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଭଙ୍ଗ କରିଦେବା—ଏହି ସବୁ କଥାର ମଧ୍ୟ ସେଇ ଗ୍ରନ୍ଥରେ ଉଲ୍ଲେଖ ଅଛି।
