देशजातिकुलानां च जानीषे धर्मलक्षणम्‌ | वेदोक्तो यश्च शिष्टोक्त: सदैव विदितस्तव

Transliteration

deśa-jāti-kulānāṃ ca jānīṣe dharma-lakṣaṇam | vedokto yaś ca śiṣṭoktaḥ sadaiva viditas tava ||

Translation

ବୈଶମ୍ପାୟନ କହିଲେ—ଦେଶ, ଜାତି ଓ କୁଳ ଅନୁସାରେ ଧର୍ମର ଯେ ଲକ୍ଷଣ, ତାହା ଆପଣ ଭଲଭାବେ ଜାଣନ୍ତି। ବେଦୋକ୍ତ ଧର୍ମ ଏବଂ ଶିଷ୍ଟ-ବିଦ୍ୱାନମାନେ କହିଥିବା ଧର୍ମ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆପଣଙ୍କୁ ସଦାଠାରୁ ଜଣା।
