यज्वा दानपति: क्षान्तो वृत्ते च परमे स्थित: । सत्यवागनसूयुश्च शीलवाजन्नियतेन्द्रिय:

Transliteration

yajvā dānapatiḥ kṣānto vṛtte ca parame sthitaḥ | satyavāg anasūyuś ca śīlavān niyatendriyaḥ ||

Translation

ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣ କହିଲେ— ସେ ବିଧିପୂର୍ବକ ଯଜ୍ଞ ସମ୍ପାଦନ କରିଥିବା, ଦାନରେ ଅଗ୍ରଗଣ୍ୟ, କ୍ଷମାଶୀଳ ଓ ପରମ ସଦାଚାରରେ ଦୃଢ଼ଭାବେ ସ୍ଥିତ। ସେ ସତ୍ୟବାଦୀ; ଦୋଷଦୃଷ୍ଟି ଓ ଇର୍ଷ୍ୟାରୁ ମୁକ୍ତ; ଶୀଳବାନ; ନିୟମରେ ଇନ୍ଦ୍ରିୟ-ନିଗ୍ରହୀ।
