भीष्म उवाच अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम् । पितुः पुत्रेण संवाद तं निबोध युधिष्ठिर
bhīṣma uvāca | atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṃ purātanam | pituḥ putreṇa saṃvādaṃ taṃ nibodha yudhiṣṭhira ||
ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ଯୁଧିଷ୍ଠିର! ଏହି ବିଷୟରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଜ୍ଞାନୀମାନେ ଗୋଟିଏ ପୁରାତନ ଇତିହାସକୁ ଉଦାହରଣ ଭାବେ ଉଦ୍ଧୃତ କରନ୍ତି—ପିତା ଓ ପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କ ସଂବାଦ। ସେହି ସଂବାଦକୁ ତୁମେ ଧ୍ୟାନଦେଇ ବୁଝ।
