निर्मयदि तथा युद्धे वर्तमाने भयानके । अर्जुनो भीमसेनश्व मोहयांचक्रतु: परान्,इस प्रकार वह भयानक युद्ध सारी मर्यादाको तोड़कर चल रहा था। उस समय अर्जुन और भीमसेनने शत्रुओंको मूर्च्छित कर दिया था
nirmaryādaṃ tathā yuddhe vartamāne bhayānake | arjuno bhīmasenaś ca mohayaṃ cakratuḥ parān ||
ଯେତେବେଳେ ସେଇ ଭୟଙ୍କର ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ସମସ୍ତ ମର୍ଯ୍ୟାଦା ଭାଙ୍ଗି ଉଗ୍ର ଭାବେ ଚାଲୁଥିଲା, ସେତେବେଳେ ଅର୍ଜୁନ ଓ ଭୀମସେନ ଶତ୍ରୁପକ୍ଷର ଯୋଧାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏମିତି ଆଘାତ କଲେ ଯେ ସେମାନେ ମୋହିତ ହୋଇ ଅଚେତନପ୍ରାୟ ହେଲେ।
