उपतस्थुर्महात्मानं कार्तिकेयं यशस्विनम्‌ | वे अपने अंगोंमें छोटी-छोटी घंटियोंसे युक्त जालीदार वस्त्र पहने हुए थे। उनमें महान्‌ ओज भरा था। नरेश्वर! वे हर्षमें भरकर नृत्य कर रहे थे। ये तथा और भी बहुत-से महापार्षदगण यशस्वी महात्मा कार्तिकेयकी सेवामें उपस्थित हुए थे

Transliteration

upatasthur mahātmānaṁ kārtikeyaṁ yaśasvinam |

Translation

ବୈଶମ୍ପାୟନ କହିଲେ—ଯଶସ୍ବୀ ମହାତ୍ମା କାର୍ତ୍ତିକେୟଙ୍କ ସେବାରେ ଅନେକ ଅନୁଚର ଓ ମହାପାର୍ଷଦ ଆଗେଇ ଆସି ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲେ। ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅଙ୍ଗରେ ଛୋଟଛୋଟ ଘଣ୍ଟି ଲାଗିଥିବା ଜାଲିଦାର ବସ୍ତ୍ର; ସେମାନେ ମହାଓଜସ୍ବୀ। ହେ ନରେଶ! ହର୍ଷରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୋଇ ସେମାନେ ନୃତ୍ୟ କରୁଥିବାବେଳେ ଭକ୍ତିଭାବରେ ତାଙ୍କ ସନ୍ନିଧିକୁ ଆସି ଦଣ୍ଡାୟମାନ ହେଲେ।
